Mr. Kataoka is the Director of our Technological and Mechanical Group. His practice encompasses patent prosecution in the mechanical engineering field. Mr. Kataoka has particular expertise in the areas of building structures; electric equipment for automobiles including automatic slide door apparatus, automatic tail gate apparatus, electric power steering device, and windshield wiper device; power transmission devices for automobiles; power tools; tires; plastic containers; and hydraulic equipment and air pressure apparatuses.
