Yuko MURAMATSU

Professional Experience

Ms. Muramatsu is the Director of our Trademark and Design Division. Her practice encompasses prosecution, negotiation, litigation, arbitration, and border enforcement of trademarks and designs. Ms. Muramatsu oversees all trademark and design cases, including the filing of trademark cases in over 160 countries and regions and design cases in over 20 countries and regions. She conducts in-house presentations for clients concerning Japanese IP protections and counsels clients on IP strategy. Ms. Muramatsu is also a lecturer at Kanto Gakuin University in Japan. There, she conducts lectures and workshops on the topics of design and unfair competition as part of an intellectual property course. Ms. Muramatsu studied in the United States where she also interned at a law firm; she has a strong command of English as well as German and French.
