Professional Experience

Mr. Suzuki is the Senior Director of our Quality Control Division. His practice encompasses patent prosecution in the mechanical, industrial manufacturing, chemical, electrical and alternative energy fields. Mr. Suzuki reviews specifications drafted by our patent attorneys to ensure the quality of our patent applications and the satisfaction of our clients. Prior to joining SUGIMURA, Mr. Suzuki was the Chief IP Counsel at Bridgestone Corporation, where he enjoyed an extensive career. At Bridgestone, Mr. Suzuki was involved in all intellectual property matters of the company, including patent prosecution, litigation, licensing, infringement analysis, contracts, disputes, IP management, and in-house IP education. Mr. Suzuki continues with many of these responsibilities at SUGIMURA and brings a corporate IP perspective to our firm.
