Professional Experience

Ms. Ito is a Manager of our Construction Technological and Mechanical Division. Her practice encompasses patent prosecution in the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software, and industrial manufacturing fields. Ms. Ito has particular expertise in the areas of construction tools including screw fastening tools, drilling tools, adhesive dispensers, and laser distance measuring tools; telecommunication technology; elevator technology; and factory automation including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), computer numerical control (CNC) systems, electrical discharge machining (EDM), laser processing machines, and servomechanism systems. Prior to joining SUGIMURA, she worked in the IP division of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Ms. Ito lived in the US for 5 years.
