Ms. Ito is a director of patent prosecution at SUGIMURA.
Her practice encompasses patent prosecution and litigation in the chemical, material science and pharmaceutical. She has particular expertise in the areas of polymers, catalysts、pigments, dyes, batteries, capacitors, chemical mechanical polishing, adhesives and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining SUGIMURA, she worked at another Japanese patent law firm where she was in charge of patent applications, prosecutions, appeals, litigation & trials and expert opinion preparation.
Ms. Ito also has experience working at the Tokyo District Court where she served as a Judicial Research Official.
